BOP Program Statement 2013.04 § 10
GOVERNMENT RECEIVABLES
In accordance with 31 CFR § 900.3, Federal agencies should attempt to resolve interagency
claims by negotiation. Therefore, outstanding UNICOR and other Government agency
receivables that the institution cannot collect through its own efforts after three months are
referred to the Debt Management Officer through the appropriate Regional Comptroller for
collection.
