CHLORINATION ROOMS

Chlorination rooms must be secured and equipped with mechanical ventilation that is on

continuously or automatically activates when the door opens. Chlorine cylinders must:

 Be secured to prevent tipping

 Have valves closed when not in use

 Have protection caps in place when not in use

Chlorination rooms must have an electronic leak detection and alarm device that gives an audible

and visual alarm.
