BOP Program Statement 1614.01 § 11
EXTERNAL AGENCY COMMUNICATION
a. The Warden must ensure notification is sent to the SCOS and RSA of:
OSHA requests to visit/inspect
OSHA unannounced visits
OSHA citations and complaints
Outside visit or inspection related to other occupational safety or health issues
Work-related deaths or serious accidents/incidents, as defined in Section 10.a.
b. Coordination. Institution management must coordinate all OSHA site visits/inspections
through the SCOS.
c. Reporting. The Warden must ensure a copy of all outside visit reports are sent to the RSA.
The RSA must forward a copy to the COSH and SCOS within 48 hours of receipt.
