MEDICAL WASTE GENERATION, STORAGE, AND DISPOSAL

Medical waste must be handled and stored in accordance with state and local regulations. OSHD

staff must oversee the DOT Hazardous Materials training of Health Services staff responsible for

signing medical waste disposal manifests.
