BOP Program Statement 1400.06 § 1
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Pursuant to section 402(d) of the Ethics in Government Act, as amended, each agency is required
to establish written procedures for handling financial disclosure reports filed with the agency.
The implementing regulation for such requirements is 5 C.F.R. § 2634.
a. Program Objectives.
Every specified Bureau staff member in a covered position will complete and submit a
financial disclosure report.
The Bureau will have a successful and comprehensive financial disclosure program.
