Criteria for Determination of Successful Electronic Prescriber
In order to qualify to earn an eRx incentive payment and/or avoid a payment adjustment
for a particular program year, unless an exception applies, eligible professionals and
group practices must be considered a “successful electronic prescriber.” The criteria that
will be used to determine whether an eligible professional or group practice is a
successful electronic prescriber differ depending on whether participation is at the
individual eligible professional level or at the group practice level and may differ from
one program year to another.
