Employer/Union Group Health Plan Sponsorship of Individual PDPs

As stated above, in addition to EGWPs, employer/union group health plan sponsors may

choose to enroll their Part D eligibles in individual PDPs. These PDPs do not qualify for all

of the employer/union group health plan waivers outlined below in this chapter. Those

waivers that apply to employer/union group sponsorship of individual PDPs will be

specifically identified below (e.g., group enrollment/disenrollment process, special enrollment

periods (SEPs), and the annual open enrollment period waiver).
