Quality Improvement
The quality improvement requirements applied to non-SNP MA plans are also applied to SNPs.
Pursuant to 42 CFR 422.152(c), each SNP must conduct a Chronic Care Improvement Program
(CCIP) targeting the special needs population that it serves. Refer to chapter 5 of the MMCM for
further guidance on SNP quality improvement and reporting requirements.
