CMS Pub. 100-16, ch. 14, § 10.2
Effect of the Contract Determination
The contract determination is final and binding on all parties unless:
• The MAO files a timely request for a hearing as described in section 20.1
below; or
• CMS reopens and revises an initial determination as described in section 40 of
this chapter.
