CMS-HCC Risk Adjustment Model

The CMS-HCC risk adjustment model is used to calculate risk scores for aged/disabled

beneficiaries and is used in bidding and payment for Part A and B benefits, under the Part

C program. In this section, CMS will discuss in detail the specific characteristics of the

CMS-HCC risk adjustment model.
