Implementing Collaboration with States
The success of the UPICs is dependent on the collaboration of all parties involved, i.e.
CMS, SMA, and the UPIC. This section will outline some of the steps necessary for
implementing collaboration with the states in order for the UPIC to begin program
integrity activities in their jurisdiction.
