General Monitoring and Auditing Requirements
As noted above, the State Administering Agency and CMS have primary responsibility to
ensure that every PACE organization maintains compliance with State and Federal
requirements. This function includes the monitoring and effectiveness evaluation of
organizational structure, procedures, protocols, and policies of each PACE organization.
