Introduction
This chapter gives an overview of the policies and methods CMS follows in determining
the amount of payment a PACE organization will receive for coverage of benefits for
PACE participants who are enrolled in their plan as provided by 42 CFR § 460.180 of the
PACE Regulations. In addition, this chapter outlines PACE organization responsibilities,
payers, premiums, and Medicare Part D.
