Completing Medicare Fraud Unit Quarterly Workload Status Report,

The carrier prepares and submits to CMS each quarter a report on the number of fraud workload
items handled by its Medicare fraud unit. This information is required by CMS to budget for fraud
and abuse activities, as well as to monitor the flow of work through the fraud units. It submits this
form via CROWD no later than the fifteenth day following the close of the reporting quarter.
