Payment for Capped Rental DME Items
The monthly rental payment amounts for capped rental DME (identified using HCPCS modifier
RR) are equal to 10 percent of the single payment amount established for purchase of the item
for each of the first 3 months and 7.5 percent of the single payment amount established for
purchase of the item for months 4 through 13.
