Effect of a BFCC-QIO Expedited Reconsideration

The BFCC-QIO reconsideration determination is binding for payment purposes on the

beneficiary, hospital, and MAC, unless the beneficiary requests a hearing by an ALJ in

accordance with 42 CFR part 478 subpart B.
