Claims After the End of Hospice Election Period
Upon revocation of Medicare coverage of hospice care for a particular election period, an
individual resumes Medicare coverage of the benefits waived when hospice care was
elected. After revocation, A/B MACs (B) process and pay professional claims for
covered Part B services that hospice employed physicians may furnish.
