Capital Payments in Puerto Rico

A special standard rate applies to Puerto Rico. It is a combination of 50 percent of the

Federal capital amount and 50 percent of the Puerto Rican capital amount. It is used in lieu

of the Federal rate to compute hold harmless and fully prospective payments for PPS

hospitals in Puerto Rico.
