Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (RETIRED)
Effective January 1, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services determined that no national
coverage determination (NCD) is appropriate at this time for Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. In
the absence of an NCD, coverage determinations will be made by the Medicare Administrative
Contractors under section 1862(a)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act.
