Coverage After Kidney Recipient Has Exhausted Part A
A3-3178.11
If the transplant recipient has exhausted Part A benefits while the kidney donor still
requires and receives inpatient hospital care, the program continues to pay for such donor
care under Part A at 100 percent reimbursement.
