U.S. Const. amend. XXIII, § 2
The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
History
This amendment was proposed by the Eighty-sixth Congress on June 17, 1960 and was declared by the Administrator of General Services on April 3, 1961, to have been ratified by 38 of the 50 States. Ratification was completed on March 29, 1961. Publication of the certifying statement of the Administrator of General Services that the amendment had become valid was made on April 3, 1961, F.R. Doc. 61-3017, 26 F.R. 2808. Dated by the completion of ratification. Text as printed in H.
