SIMILAR ACTS – SELF-DEFENSE
You have heard evidence of prior other [crimes] [acts]
[wrongs] involving violence engaged in by the [victim] [name of
victim]. You may consider that evidence only as it bears on the
defendant’s state of mind in [his] [her] conduct towards the
[victim]. Of course, the fact that the [victim] [name of victim] may
have previously been violent does not mean that the [victim]
[name of victim] necessarily was [violent] [the aggressor] in this
case.
