Article V, Section 1 -a of the Texas Constitution; Article XV, Sections 6 and 8 of the

Texas Constitution; Chapter 66 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code; Chapters

33 and 39 of the Government Code; and these rules govern the procedures for the

discipline of judges and judicial candidates.
