Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP)

The Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) provides a variety of services, which are cost-neutral, to support families caring for children who are medically dependent and to encourage de-institutionalization of children in nursing facilities. Services include case management by regional HHSC staff, adaptive aids, adjunct support services, minor home modifications, respite and transition assistance services.
