Application of Statutory Law and Circuit Court Practice in Absence of Rule

These rules shall govern all civil suits in the magistrates court. If no procedure is provided by these

rules, the court shall proceed in a manner consistent with the statutory law applicable to magistrates

and with circuit court practice in similar situations but not inconsistent with these rules.
