S.C. Const. art. X, § 8
Payments from treasuries
Money shall be drawn from the treasury of the State or the treasury of any of its political subdivisions only in pursuance of appropriations made by law.
History
1976 (59) 2217; 1977 (60) 90. The provisions of this section are somewhat similar to former Section 9 of Article X as it existed prior to the 1977 revision.
