R.I. Workers' Comp. Ct. R. Prac. 2.17
Motions
All motions, except motions to amend the pleadings, shall
be in writing and filed with the court, and heard at the discretion of the trial judge.
The moving party shall promptly deliver a copy of the motion and notice of hearing
to the opposing party.
