R.I. Super. Ct. R. Crim. P. 30.1
Jury Deliberations
The trial justice may permit the members of a jury
which is in the course of its deliberations, after providing them with appropriate
instructions, to separate for the time being in order that they may obtain their meals
or to return to their homes overnight and until the next court session.
