Copy and Fee Requirements

Pursuant to Pa.R.A.P. 124(c), unless otherwise directed by the Prothonotary or ordered by the Court, the below tables outline the number of copies required for filing.

Briefs: As outlined in the table below, an original brief, plus fifteen (15) copies are required for filing. This includes briefs filed via PACFile. The required paper copies of any briefs filed via PACFile must be received by the Prothonotary’s office within seven (7) days of filing.

Paper copies are not otherwise required for filings submitted via PACFile, including the previously required archival copy.

If a filing is not listed below and is ancillary to a case already on appeal before the Supreme Court, the original document and one (1) copy must be submitted. For questions or further information, contact the Prothonotary’s Office.
