(e) Duty after Hearing

(1) Counsel for the alleged incapacitated person shall cause to be served on and

read to the alleged incapacitated person or adjudicated incapacitated person, the

Final Decree and Statement of Rights adjudicating the person incapacitated

within ten (10) days and advise the client of the right to file a request for

reconsideration or an appeal. Appointed counsel shall continue to serve through

the conclusion of the appeal period.

(2) After the expiration of the appeal period for a guardianship proceeding,

appointed counsel shall submit an invoice to the capacitated party or the

guardian of the estate of the incapacitated person for payment for representing

the incapacitated person. In the event that there are insufficient funds in the

estate of the incapacitated person, or the invoice is not reimbursed timely,

appointed counsel may submit a motion to the court to request reimbursement by

order of court from either the estate of the incapacitated person or the County of

York.

(3) In the event that court appointed counsel determines that services are no

longer necessary, leave to withdraw from the case may be requested.
