Westmoreland Cnty. C.P. Local Rules of Court RULE WJUV 195
FAILURE TO PAY FINES AND COSTS RELATED TO TRUANCY
The Westmoreland County Juvenile Probation Department shall receive
allegations that a child who fails to satisfy a fine or costs imposed as a result of truancy
proceedings is dependent for the purpose of considering the commencement of
proceedings under 42 Pa. C.S. Chapter 63 (relating to dependency and delinquency of
children).
Adopted March 12, 2024, effective April 29, 2024. Rule WJUV195 is entered pursuant to Pennsylvania Rule of
Juvenile Procedure 195 (relating to powers and duties of juvenile probation officer, and pursuant to 24 P.S.
Section 13-1333.3(f)(2).
