Lehigh Cnty. C.P. Civil Court Local Rules Rule 225
Opening and Closing Statements
Except as otherwise directed by the trial judge, one attorney for each party or group of
parties having the burden of proof shall address the jury at the conclusion of the evidence, after
which the attorney for each adverse party or group of parties shall sum up. One attorney for each
party or group of parties having the burden of proof shall then be allowed to address the jury in
rebuttal.
