Approval of Search Warrant Application by Attorney for the
Commonwealth - Local Option
The District Attorney, having filed a certification pursuant to Pa.R.Crim.P. 202,
search warrants applied for by an Officer of the Pennsylvania Game Commission for the
crimes listed below, shall not hereafter be issued by any judicial officer, unless the search
warrant applications have the approval of an attorney for the Commonwealth before filing:
A violation of any criminal offense listed in any title of the Pennsylvania Statutes
and/or Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes Annotated.
