Prohibited Items in Courthouse and Magisterial District Courts
A. All persons are prohibited from bringing the following items into the
Lancaster County Courthouse, into any courtroom in which a court proceeding is
taking place, and into any Magisterial District Court:
1. Weapons of any kind. This prohibition shall not apply to those individuals
or groups expressly authorized by sealed administrative order of the
President Judge, subject to reasonable and necessary policies and
procedures adopted by the Lancaster County Sheriff.
B. Any prohibited items confiscated by officers in charge of security are subject
to being retained and disposed of by such officers.
