ULE 1302. LIST OF ARBITRATORS. APPOINTMENT OF BOARD.

COMPENSATION

T

he Dauphin County Bar Association shall advertise and collect applications of

attorneys in the county who desire to serve as arbitrators. Applications shall be

advertised in July of the second year of the term of the current arbitrators. The deadline

for applications will be the 15th of September following the advertisement of

applications.

I

mmediately following the deadline for applications, the Association shall provide

the District Court Administrator with the applications. The Court shall select arbitrators

to serve for two years.

nsofar as possible, one week out of each month shall be designated by the

Court for the hearing of arbitration cases and one panel (three attorneys) will sit for the

entire week, with each arbitrator sitting for two weeks each year.

he compensation of each arbitrator shall be set by order of court.

hould an arbitrator retire or otherwise be disqualified, the President Judge shall

select a replacement arbitrator from the remaining applicant pool to serve the remainder

of the term.
