Chester Cnty. C.P. Court of Common Pleas Local Rules of Criminal Procedure Rule 105.1(c)
Murder and Major Cases; Pre-Assignment
When a defendant is charged with murder or a major crime in the complaint, upon written
request of counsel to the Court Administrator the case may be assigned to a judge before the
preliminary hearing.
