Petition Practice and Pleading
Rule 3.1A Petitions Generally
Petitions and applications requiring action by the court shall be filed with the clerk.
The clerk shall enter on the document the date and time filed and shall assign to
each new matter a file number. The file number and the name of the matter shall be
included in the caption of all papers filed in court or in the clerk’s office.
