Rule 202. Approval of Search Warrant Applications by Attorney for the

Commonwealth.

The District Attorney of Bucks County having filed a certification pursuant to

Pa.R.Crim.P. No. 202, no search warrant shall hereafter be issued by any judicial

officer in Bucks County unless the search warrant application has the approval of

an attorney for the Commonwealth prior to filing, except for applications for

search warrants which request legal blood testing of any person related to

investigations or prosecutions of offenses under 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3802. In such

cases only, law enforcement shall not be required to seek or obtain prior approval

from an attorney for the Commonwealth.
