Pleadings Allowed After Petition – Order
(a) No counterclaims shall be permitted. Cross-petitions and motions are permitted.
(b) A proposed order for the scheduling of a status conference or hearing shall be attached to all
responsive pleadings and shall be in the following form:
(CAPTION)
ORDER
AND NOW, (month)_______, 20___, the above-captioned matter is scheduled for a:
( ) status conference on ______________, 20___ at _______ a.m./p.m. in the chambers of
the undersigned.
( ) hearing on ______________, 20___ at _______ a.m./p.m. in the courtroom of the Berks
County Courthouse/Services Center assigned to the undersigned.
Counsel are directed to meet prior to the conference/hearing to reduce fact questions and
legal issues to a minimum; and further, shall be authorized to settle at said meeting and status
conference.
