Berks Cnty. C.P. Criminal Rules Rule 706
Costs to be Paid by Defendant
In all criminal cases where the Defendant shall have been sentenced to pay the costs of
the proceeding, or where by order the court has directed the Defendant to pay certain costs, the
Clerk of Courts shall deliver a copy of the bill of costs as stated to the adult probation and parole
office of the court. The amount of the bill of costs as rendered shall be the amount to be collected
form the Defendant, subject, however, to the right by any party to have the costs retaxed in
accordance with the rules of court.
