Berks Cnty. C.P. Civil Rules Rule 30
Payment into Court
A defendant may, upon motion, pay into court the amount which he admits to be due, together with the
costs up to that time. The plaintiff may receive the amount so paid, and either enter a discontinuance or
proceed to trial at his option. In the latter case, he shall pay all costs subsequently accruing, unless he shall
recover judgment for a sum additional to that admitted to be due and paid into court.
