Berks Cnty. C.P. Civil Rules Rule 212.3
Settlement Negotiation
Each attorney shall consult with the client and obtain authority to settle and shall confer with
opposing counsel regarding settlement prior to the conference. At the time of the conference, counsel
shall exchange letters setting forth their respective settlement demand and settlement offer.
