Beaver Cnty. C.P. Local Rules of Civil Procedure LR 208.3(b)

(1) All motions, including special relief, shall be presented to the assigned motions judge after

notice is given to opposing party or that party's counsel of record pursuant to local rule

LR208.3(a)(3) and a courtesy copy provided to the Court.

(2) A copy of any motion which is anticipated to be contested shall be delivered to the

motions judge at least twenty-four hours prior to presentation.

(3) No contested motions will be entertained by the Court unless counsel for the parties or any

self-represented party shall have first conferred and attempted to resolve the issues.

(i) All contested motions shall have a written certification attached by the moving party.

The certification, substantially as set forth in LR1915, shall state the date and manner of

the conference with respect to each disputed matter.

(ii) In the event that counsel or the self-represented party have no conferred, the moving

party will certify the reason or reasons that the parties were not able to confer.

(iii) In the event that both parties are self-represented and subject to an existing

Protection from Abuse Order, the parties are excused from conferring to resolve the

dispute. The Certificate of Compliance form shall be attached to the Motion and

completed ''unable to confer due to a Protection from Abuse Order.''
