Application for Assignment of Counsel
All applications for assignment of counsel pursuant to
Pa.R.Crim.P. 122 shall be submitted to the Armstrong County
Public Defender’s Office. The application shall be in form
prescribed from time to time by the Office. The determination
of whether a defendant is without financial resources and unable
to employ counsel shall be made by the Public Defender. The
Public Defender shall be responsible for preparation of written
eligibility guidelines biennially. All such guidelines shall be
approved by the Court prior to implementation.
