CRIMINAL MISDEMEANOR DIVISION
A. Misdemeanor Initial Appearances shall be conducted by a judge and recorded by the clerk
or bailiff in the form of a court minute, which shall be made part of the record of the case.
The defendant shall be presented with a copy of the information upon which has endorsed
the date of the trial and/or disposition proceedings.
B. The misdemeanor disposition docket shall be set at least twenty (20) days prior to trial date.
The defendant, in any case in which an attorney has not made an appearance, shall be
present.
C. Motions to suppress, motions to quash, demurrers, etc. shall be heard by the assigned trial
judge.
D. On disposition docket day, the parties shall announce whether the case is ready for
disposition or trial.
