TRADE SECRET — DEFINITION
TRADE SECRET — DEFINITION
A “trade secret” is information, such as a
formula/pattern/compilation/program/device/method/technique/process, that meets
the following thee requirements:
1. The information derives independent economic value from not being generally
known;

2. The information is not readily asce rtainable, through proper means, by other
persons who can obtain economic value from its disclosure or use; and
3. The information is the subject of reas onable efforts to maintain its secrecy.
