DEFINITION OF OFFER

An offer is an expression that a person is willing to enter into a contract.

An offer must set out the terms of the proposed contract, it must be communicated

to the other party by the party making the offer, and the party making the offer must

intend to be obligated by its terms if accepted.

An offer remains open for the time stated in the offer or, if no time is stated, for a

reasonable time.

An offer may set out the precise manner for acceptance or, if no manner is set out,

it may be accepted in any reasonable manner.

An offer may be withdrawn at any time before it is accepted.

Once an offer has been rejected, it may no longer be accepted.
