Ohio Sup.R. 7.41
Establishment of Commercial Docket
A court of common pleas having six or more general division judges or located in a county having
a population of three hundred thousand or more according to the latest federal decennial census
may establish and maintain a dedicated docket to hear commercial litigation pursuant to Sup.R.
7.40 through 7.52. The docket shall be styled a “commercial docket.”

Effective Date: July 1, 2013 Commentary (July 1, 2026) Rule 49.01 was renumbered to Rule 7.41 as part of the 2026 restructuring of the Rules of Superintendence.
