Original Actions
(A) Definition
As used in these rules, a n “original action” is a case that invokes the original jurisdiction
of the Supreme Court pursuant to Article IV, Section 2(B)(1)(a) through (e) of the Ohio
Constitution.
(B) Instituting a case
An original action shall be filed as provided for in Rule 12.02.
