Pre-Recorded Testimony

All of the testimony and such other evidence as may be appropriate may be presented at a trial by

video recording, subject to the provisions of the Rules of Superintendence.

History

Effective Date: July 1, 1972 Amended: July 1, 2013 Staff Note (July 1, 2013 Amendment) Rule 40 is amended to reflect that modern technology now encompasses digital video recording. The amendment is intended to clarify that presentation by video, analog or digital, is permissible provided that the recording complies with the provisions of the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio.
